W.C. Fields plays a hen-pecked general store owner who I constantly hounded by his status-anxious wife while he only dreams of owning an orange grove. He thinks he gets his wish and takes his family out to California but when they arrive they find an anemic grove with not an orange to be found. Fields brings his classic touch to this hilarious film of lies, misrepresentations and deceit.
