This frontier epic opens in 1887 with the remnants of the Cheyenne Nation waiting for a meeting with government representatives on a wretched Oklahoma reservation. When the meeting doesn’t take place, the Cheyennes migrate back to their homeland in Wyoming with government officials in tow.
