Mame is an exuberant and
individualist socialite in the roaring 20’s.
When her brother dies she is obligated to raising her nephew
Patrick. Patrick’s father arranged for
an executor of his will to keep his son away from Mame’s unconventional
lifestyle. In spite of this Mame and Patrick grow very devoted to each other
and are tested together when the country falls into the Great Depression. They make it through this and many other
tests with outrageous consequences.
