Dracula’s (Bela Lugosi) castle stands in
the shadows of the Carpathian Mountains, a symbol of fear and suspicion to the
villagers who live in the valley below. Real estate agent Renfield (Dwight
Frye) journeys to the castle to conclude a business transaction with its
elusive owner. Tension mounts as Renfield learns the truth about his mysterious
host and succumbs to Dracula’s will to become his mindless victim.
