Based on the novel by Rafael Sabatini, CAPTAIN BLOOD is the story of an English surgeon wrongly condemned to prison. Dr. Peter Blood (Errol Flynn) escapes and leads a revolt with his fellow prisoners. He seeks retribution by turning them into a pirate crew and himself into the head pirate, Captain Blood.
