Joon (Mary Stuart Masterson) is a mentally ill woman who lives with her overprotective brother Benny (Aidan Quinn). A dyslexic loner, Sam (Johnny Depp), who admires Buster Keaton, charms Joon, but faces the challenge of approval from her brother.
