Katie, a playful, smart aleck
three-year-old gorilla has been taught to communicate through sign language.
Rick is a fourteen-year-old troublemaker who befriends the gorilla with
M&M’s and finger paintings. But when Katie’s mean-spirited owner locks her
in a cage at his flea market, Rick has no choice but to spring Katie from her
confines and hit the road for Canada.
