After being diagnosed with a rare, fatal tumor terminally ill sixteen-year-old gangster murderer Blue (Jon Seda) kidnaps his doctor, Michael Reynolds (Woody Harrelson) and heads for the mountains. A Navajo medicine man told Blue about a healing lake and Blue will stop at nothing to bathe in its healing waters.
