In this sequel to the 1991 smash hit FATHER OF THE BRIDE, Steve Martin has cause to be nervous when both mother (Diane Keaton) and daughter (Kimberly Williams) announce that they are pregnant. The zaniness begins as George Banks (Steve Martin) is feeling too young to be a grandfather, and too old to be a father again. Flamboyantly funny Franck Egglehoffer (Martin Short) is engaged to coordinate a double baby shower.
