In this adaptation of John Berendt’s best-selling book, John Cusack stars as John Kelso, a New York journalist who takes up residence in Savannah, Georgia, only to be drawn into a landmark murder case in which ruthless power, voodoo, and forbidden love vie for center stage. Jim Williams (Kevin Spacey), an arrogant antique dealer is accused of murdering a redneck hustler (Jude Law).
