In this romantic comedy, two spurned
lovers—one a naive small-town guy and the other a cynical, sophisticated female
artist—team up to spy on their former mates, who have fallen in love and share
an apartment in New York. One seeks revenge for being dumped, while the other
merely wants his girlfriend back; as their fates begin to intertwine,
unexpected comic and romantic consequences arise.
