Jake Wilkinson is a self-absorbed prep school student who, just days before Christmas, wakes to find himself wearing a Santa suit and stranded in the middle of the California desert. Jake has to find a way to get to New York by 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve or risk forfeiting the vintage Porsche his father promised if Jake comes home for the holidays. As Jake frantically makes his way east, everyone he meets sets a comedy of errors in motion as they look to Santa for advice.
