Rated R; 121 minutes; 1998

Bill Paxton and Billy Bob Thornton team up for a crime thriller based on a best-selling novel about two brothers, who, along with a friend, find $4 million in the cockpit of a downed plane. Since the pilot is dead and no one is looking for the money, they decide that all they have to do is wait and keep the cash for themselves. Trust is lost among them, as deceit, treachery, blackmail, and murder descend upon their previously well-ordered lives.

“A stunner! Fonda makes a scarily domesticated Lady MacBeth.”
- Peter Travers, ROLLING STONE

“One of the tightest, most profound thrillers in this decade. Layer upon layer of suspense and tension.”

- Rod Lurie, KABC RADIO

“The mood of a classic thriller.”
- Richard Rayner, HARPER’S BAZAAR
