A biologist discovers a way to genetically enhance the brain size of sharks so cancer-fighting enzymes can be harvested for medical purposes. In an offshore laboratory, things begin to go wrong when a group of scientists find themselves trapped in a damaged and sinking marine research facility off the coast of Baja, California. The scientists are forced to battle genetically enhanced sharks that have the intelligence of dolphins and the ferocity of their own species in this action-thriller.
