Three separate stories spanning three different decades give an intimate view into the lives of three lesbian couples and the difficulties that they face from the 1960s to the present. One mini-movie tells the story of coping with the loss of a long time companion, another focuses on issues brought to the forefront by the feminist movement, and the last centers on a couple eager to experience parenthood.

“Exquisitely crafted by writer-director Jane Anderson, Vanessa Redgrave gives a quietly heartbreaking performance.”
- PEOPLE MAGAZINE

“The stories it tells are unlike any told before except that they are all about love, humanity and recognizable truths. And they’re all great TV.”

- THE WASHINGTON POST

“A poignant and heart-rending tale.”
- THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER
