An ex-military man turned attorney (Tommy Lee Jones) finds himself fighting against the establishment he once served when a career solider (Samuel L. Jackson) is accused of firing on innocent civilians during a protest at an U.S. embassy. Despite his reluctance to take the case, this disillusioned attorney is bound by honor to protect the solider who heroically saved his life when the two served together in Vietnam in this thrilling courtroom drama.
