Rowling books that have started a phenomenon, this film adaptation follows the adventures of the book’s young hero - Harry Potter. Harry learns upon his 11th birthday that he is the orphaned son of two powerful wizards and has some interesting powers of his own. He leaves a life of disenchantment and despair to an exciting trek to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Losing his parents at a young age, Harry makes a family of the close circle of friends at school. This magical and fantastical group of friends join Harry to unravel the mystery of his parents’ death and confront the forces intent on destroying him.
