| This WWII film directed by college favorite John Woo is based on an actual events. During the war a Navajo language was used for encoding top-secret messages, which put the encoders in grave danger. Marine Sergeant Joe Enders finds himself in charge of protecting one such encoder. His mission is protection at any cost, which means that if a capture appears imminent he must kill his charge. The friendship that develops between the two soldiers complicates the matter and the Sergeant is faced with the ultimate moral dilemma. | |||||
