He was “The Greatest” and he charmed a nation. Muhammad Ali (Smith), with a mouth as fast as his fists, lit the professional world of boxing on fire with his entrance into the sport in the 1960's. With a wit and bravado that endeared him to a nation that was as racially divided as any other time in history, Ali used his inner rage combined with an inner grace to forever change the face of America. This film also brings in the cast of characters that surrounded Ali including Howard Cosell and Joe Frazier who were as much a part of Ali’s persona as his boxing.
