every year, one of natures greatest phenomena takes place off
the Texas coast after the August full moon: coral spawning. Dr. Sylvia
Earle, veteran diver and explorer-in-residence of the National Geographic
Society, ventures to an area known as the Flower Gardens to observe
a mating ritual of astonishing precision and beauty.
