Meg is an emotionally tormented young girl who’s mother is never home and who’s father is permanently gone.  She turns to an English teacher for support and he encourages her to enter a poetry contest to give her an outlet for her pain.  What begins as a teacher/student relationship begins to become something more in this sensitive drama.
