Kelson (Bullock) is a brilliant Harvard-trained lawyer. George Wade is her millionaire client who
doesn’t make a move without her. He not
only entrusts her with financial and legal jurisdiction over his affairs but he
can hardly make it through the mundane events of daily like without her
opinion, treating her more like a servant than a powerful attorney. Lucy goes along with his demands because she
has fallen in love with him. George,
however, is hopelessly self-absorbed and Lucy has no choice but to give her notice – in the hopes
of being noticed!
