Young journalist, Stephen
Glass, was enjoying a meteoric rise to fame as a writer for the highly touted
political magazine “The New Republic.”
Three years into his tenure his old boss was fired and a new, less
protective one brought in. As he
checked over Glass’s stories it became harder and harder for him to prove where
they came from. On the public stage it
was revealed that Glass had fabricated over half of the stories he had written
including sources, quotes and even entire plot lines. He was dismissed in shame in this fascinating true story.
