Bright young poet Sylvia Plath meets and falls in love with fellow poet Ted Hughes.  Though she loved him dearly her jealousy of his success would color her life and her work.  Gwyneth Paltrow stars as the legendary literary figure in this film that explores her initial happiness along with her road to debilitating depression and, eventually, to suicide.
