This film is Israel’s first movie with an insiders’ view of Jerusalem’s ultra-Orthodox community. The film takes place during Sukkoth, when Jews host guests (called “Ushpizin”) to commemorate the time of Exodus. A couple’s faith is tested after praying to the Lord for a child on this religious holiday.
