This bizarre tale follows the obsessive roller-coaster lives of Burt Pugach and Linda Riss that shocked the nation in 1959. Burt was married but when he saw Linda he had to have her. When she left him he had her beat up and burned with acid leaving her blind. After serving his prison sentence he proposed to Riss and she accepted. This fascinating couple is interviewed onscreen in this documentary.
