Nicholas Angel is the best cop in London but he is making his fellow officers look bad. For this reason he is rewarded by being sent to sleepy and crime free Sandford. When Angel arrives he and his oafish partner discover a series of grizzly accidents that stink of foul play and Angel realizes that Sandford is not as idyllic as it seems in this dark comedy.
