This film is a biopic of ill-fated Joy Division lead singer Ian Curtis. The film starts in Curtiss teenage years, moves through his struggle with his relationship with his wife and child, into his temptation with another woman, his drug problems and up through his eventual suicide in 1980 just prior to what was expected to be his bandŐs most successful U.S. tour.
