This film is a dramatization of the planning of the murder of John Lennon by Mark David Chapman. We are given insight into Chapman's disturbed childhood, his psychotic tendencies and finally his decision to kill arguably the most famous person on the planet. The story is told in the actual words of Chapman taken from his detailed diaries.
