In this story loosely based on tobacco heiress, Doris Duke, we are taken into her tumultuous relationship with her gay, alcoholic butler, Bernard Lafferty. Duke romped through life making shrewd decisions with her billions and going through dozens of men. When she died she left, Bernard - just out of rehab - control of her estate amidst rumors that Bernard was actually her murderer.
