Based on the popular Israeli series of the same name, In Treatment stars Gabriel Byrne as a therapist who exhibits an insightful, reserved demeanor while treating his patients but displays a crippling insecurity and anger when he seeks the counsel of his own therapist, played by Dianne Wiest. Patients undergoing treatment include an attractive woman in her 30s who reveals her love for the therapist, a U.S. Air Force pilot torn by his role in the Iraqi war, a teenage professional gymnast who displays suicidal tendencies and a couple who are on the verge of breaking up.
