At the end of the Ice Age, The Machine came from outer space with the purpose to change men into mutants but was defeated and a great seal was laid over it. In 2707, in a depleted world ruled by four warring corporations, the seal is broken during a battle freeing The Machine. When some of the population escapes to Mars, a man of faith recruits a team to return and destroy the machine.
