A young man from an Orthodox Brooklyn Jewish community reluctantly follows the path his family has chosen for him, an arranged marriage and studying to become a Rabbi. A neighbor senses Sam’s discontent and propositions him to transport ‘medicine’ for an Israeli dealer. Exposed to the exciting, gritty worlds of international nightlife, Sam begins to spiral deeper into the lifestyle. His double life rips his family apart as they grow suspicious of his illegal activities. Sam slowly comes to realize the façade behind the easy money and parties. Caught between life as a smuggler and the path back to his former self, Sam goes on the run, forced to make a decision that could crash the entire operation.
